Service Mode
The selection of service mode is determined upon types of products and the status of technical network. Presently, the service modes that are available include:
1 Online Browse Mode
Online browse is the most popular dissemination mode of Internet information. On the basis of CEInet’s nationwide linkups, users can log on/out webstation via password and online browse the database, solution center and inquire the information they need.
2 Mirroring Mode of LAN Data Package
The database is installed inside the user’s LAN. The updated information is transmitted in the form of satellite synchronization, network synchronization and mail.
In light of the multi-level omnifarious information demand of governments at all levels, universities, research institutes, enterprises and institutions, to meet the characteristic of physical isolation of LAN users or rigorous firewall, the complete data package is produced by integrating database series. Its main characteristics are:
(1) Organically combine multimedia technologies and automatic synchronization service mode and quickly establish a data package mirroring station at customer’s Intranet, which allows automatic order programme, contain rich contents and update expeditiously.
(2) This mode is suitable for the use and promotion of database. Presently, in view of Internet’s restriction of bandwidth, the use and dissemination of streaming media information and the inquiry of key user’s database is restricted. However, LAN service mode basically solves these problems, because its bandwidth is over 100M averagely and the number of users is limited. Thus, it enables customers to select what they need while keeping abreast of the content provider.
3 Single-computer Service Mode for Individual User
According to user’s requirement, the database information is combined into CD. With a bottom base installed at the user-end, the added content can be updated by mailing CD. This service mode is most suitable for small users, e.g. individual user or small enterprise.
